This was done as an editorial piece of work for an article entitled "I too have shot a stag. But the Emperor killer still appals me"
The newspaper article was about the death of the Exmoor Emperor, a massive stag said to be the biggest creature in Britain. The Emperor is believed to have been shot by a poacher or trophy hunter. The author of the article was explaining that he himself has shot a few deer in his time, but is against the shooting of the Emperor since he was so iconic.
In the above picture we see that a kingly figure (the Emperor) has been shot by an arrow. The crowd weeps and searches for who did it.
I have to apologise for the slight slant on the picture; it is a photograph. Just to explain too, that the empty courtyard is space for the title of the article.
